Thank you for the little things...

This morning Jadon went to visit Ms. Caroline who works with him on his eating.  I'm happy to report he ate his 1st cheeseburger and actually said it was yummy.

While we were there Cody said he needed to go potty which he NEVER does.  He will go in the potty if you tell him to (although even that is a battle sometimes), but he never volunteers to go.  If you aren't on top of it, he will go in his pants.  But, today he asked to go potty.  I got him in the stall and pulled down his pants to see if he was wet or dry.  To my surprise he was without an underpant... no diaper, no pull-up, no underwear.  I'm not sure when he managed to remove his pull-up, but he did.  I am happy to report he was DRY!!!!!  I couldn't believe he was dry and he asked to go potty!!!!!  In my world, I would have expected him to go number 2 and it fall out the leg of his pant onto the carpet floor of the therapy center in front of all the other mothers.  But, NO... that didn't happen... he was DRY!!!!  He was CLEAN!!!  I could walk back in with head held high... yes, my child was dry and asked to go potty.  I was however a bit embarrassed that my child managed to leave the house commando style.

  3. My son will go every time he has a pullup on, but will not go in his underwear or if he is naked. I think mine's secure in his pullup and sees it as a place to potty even though he knows it's not.

Once again, you have gorgeous children! I love your photos!

Congrats on the potty training success. I am not having much luck with my three year old boys. :(
